Brambly Park

We partnered with the legendary Richmond designer Rob Wooten to help develop the brand identity and story for Brambly Park, a unique urban winery. The owners of Brambly wanted to use a series of characters to mark their different wines, so we created a universe around them, positioning Brambly as a fantastical world, nestled in the heart of Scott's Addition in Richmond.

Building a Brand Story

The characters of Brambly have a personality that's as unique as the wine they represent. In their world, they live in harmony in the bustling urban center of Scott's Addition, taking refuge in an urban oasis.

We channeled some of our favorite children's tales (especially Redwall by Brian Jacques) as inspiration for the world we built for the personalities of Brambly Park. In a self-contained universe, the Brambly characters represent specific wines and principal historical and geographic facets of Richmond. From a friendly train conductor to a mythical landlord that's part man, part octopus, the inhabitants of Brambly build an iconic brand story– setting the winery itself up as a 'town square' for their lives.
