We’re a brand marketing agency that specializes in helping small to medium-sized businesses grow. We primarily work with brands in the outdoor space, but welcome any clients that align with our core values of Community, Conservation, and Craft. Our primary clientele includes fly-fishing guides, outdoor NPOs, and regional businesses focused on community building or conservation. 

Role Overview

TrailHead Creative is looking for a skilled and imaginative Graphic Designer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will help shape and bring to life the visual direction of our marketing and advertising work. You will collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and writers to turn strong concepts into compelling creative that delivers for our clients.

The ideal candidate is both a big-picture thinker and a hands-on creative who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable juggling multiple projects, presenting and explaining ideas with confidence, and working as part of a collaborative team to push work forward. Key Responsibilities

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

  • Understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color, hierarchy)

  • Ability to create designs for digital and print (social media, web graphics, presentations, flyers, etc.)

  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and visual consistency

  • Basic understanding of UI/UX concepts is a plus

  • Strong visual sense and eagerness to learn and improve

  • Ability to take creative direction and apply feedback

  • Willingness to experiment, iterate, and try new ideas

  • Attention to detail and pride in your work

Team & Workflow:

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage time and handle multiple small projects

  • Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment

  • Open to learning new tools, styles, and workflows

Goals & Responsibilities

  • Support the design team by creating graphics for marketing, social media, web, and internal projects

  • Help maintain a consistent visual brand across all platforms

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams on creative projects

  • Learn and grow through feedback, mentorship, and hands-on experience

  • Contribute ideas and creative input during brainstorming sessions

  • Meet deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail

  • Stay curious and up to date with design trends and tools
